[tex]a = - 8 + 3[/tex]

[tex]a = - 5[/tex]

[tex]b = - 3 \times ( - 2) + 3[/tex]

[tex]b = 6 + 3[/tex]

[tex]b = 9[/tex]

2) a) f(4)= -5

f(-3)= 9

b)

[tex]f(8) = x \times ( - 2) + 3 \\ f(8) = 8 \times ( - 2) + 3 \\ f(8) = - 16 + 3 \\ f(8) = - 13[/tex]

Donc, l'image de 8 par la fonction f est -13.

3) a)

[tex]g(1) = 5x - 4 \\ g(1) = 5 \times 1 - 4 \\ g(1) = 5 - 4 \\ g(1) = 1[/tex]

l'image de 1 par la fonction g est 1.

b)

[tex]5x - 4 = 20 \\ 5x = 20 + 4 \\ x = \frac{20 + 4}{5} \\ x = \frac{24}{5} [/tex]

[tex]x = 4.8[/tex]

donc, l'antécedant de 20 par la fonction g est 4,8.
