1-When he was at school, he had learnt the English language.
2- The local cinema was no longer open. It had closed down.
3- When i was young, my grandparents had made a wonderful cake for my 10th birthday.
4- He told me he had run in the park the day before.
5- I immediately recognized Mrs.Johnson after all these years. She had not changed a lot.
6- The house was very quiet when i got home. everybody had already gone to bed.
7- I remembered i had met them 2 years before.
8- I was very happy To see her after such a long time. I had not seen her for five years.
9- Mr smith was no longer alive. He had died.
10- We arrived at the cinema late. The film had already begun.
